Prenatal checkups are medical examinations designed to protect the health of both the mother and her baby and to ensure that the pregnancy is progressing normally.
During these checkups, detailed assessments—such as ultrasound scans—are performed to monitor the baby’s growth and the mother’s physical condition.
To help both the mother and baby stay healthy—physically and mentally—throughout pregnancy and to ensure a safe delivery, support is also provided for daily lifestyle habits and nutrition.
The cost of prenatal checkups is partially covered by public subsidy programs, so please take advantage of these services.
Pregnancy brings many physical changes.
Even if you feel well and everything appears to be going smoothly, there may be hidden health issues.
Once symptoms progress, treatment can become more difficult, so early detection and appropriate medical care are essential for a safe and secure birth.
Even if you have no particular concerns, it is important to attend prenatal checkups to monitor your baby’s development and your own health (such as blood pressure and urine tests).
If you experience anything unusual—such as bleeding or abdominal pain—please contact us immediately, even if it is outside your scheduled checkup day.
We will do our best to assist you, even during nights or holidays.
During prenatal checkups, a standard 2D ultrasound examination is typically performed.
A 4D ultrasound, on the other hand, creates three-dimensional images based on 2D data, allowing you to observe your baby’s expressions and movements in real time.
After around 20 weeks of pregnancy, you can see lifelike behaviors such as your baby sucking their fingers or yawning.
